Canadas Got Talent City TV Contestant Beatrice Love

Beatrice Love is a singer/ speaker residing in her home community in Treaty 8 territory. B belongs to the Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation reserve #455, and Horse Lake First Nation reserve #449.

Beatrice credits her late father, Winston Gouchey, for instilling her deep passion for music. Beatrice continues to honour her father's legacy through performing across Turtle Island.

Beatrice Love is Woodland Cree from Treaty 8.

As a believer of the Lord, Beatrice is a witness to the Power of Hope, Deliverance and Redemption. Her Faith carries and sustains her through her journey of growing up Indigenous.

Overcoming many challenges from addiction to homelessness - Beatrice is a living witness that anything is possible when one has faith, and believes. 

Beatrice is a proud mother to Yaisha, Christopher, Cruz, Olivia and Prasaia.

Beatrice is a self taught vocalist and comes from a musical bloodline.

Beatrice’s album, “On The Road to Nowhere, is her testimony in music form. Her life story focuses on bringing the darkness to the light.

Beatrice’s first film production, “Becoming Her Ally”, will be available for viewing in 2024.

B Love is a Soul/R&B singer/songwriter.

Beatrice has had the privilege to perform in various locations from Vancouver, BC to North Dakota and all across Turtle Island. Music motivates Beatrice and soothes the wounds inherited by being Indigenous.

Music has been a consistent source of strength, transformation and encouragement to B over the years. B will always honour this gift given from the Father above.

Beatrice knows the force of powerlessness.

It was in her brokenness of addiction, she learned the weaponry of shining light on her darkest parts. Standing in her authenticity works hand in hand in walking the red road (clean and sober since May 12, 2017).

Her purpose focuses on Honesty, Recovery and Acceptance. Beatrice uses these life experiences to Empower, Motivate and Encourage others.

As a certified Wellness Counsellor, Beatrice believes in the armour of knowledge.

B offers workshops in Self Development, Life Skills and Wellness.

Beatrice is available to offer service at various functions including, but not limited to:

  • Domestic Violence Awareness

  • Spiritual Gatherings
